Product comparison Shark Navigator NV360 vs. Bissell adapt ion pet

If you are interested in vacuum cleaners, you may know or used to buy a product from Shark, a big and reputable manufacturer in the world. However, since more and more vacuums have been released by other providers, customers may be confused and want comparisons to see what product they need or should buy. In this post, we will compare one of the most popular devices from Shark: Shark NV360, and one from Bissell: Adapt Ion pet vacuum.

DESIGN

Both models are upright vacuums, but while Shark navigator lift-away deluxe nv360 has a design of a traditional upright machine and weighs more than 12lbs, the Bissell device is much slimmer with a weight of under 6lbs. Moreover, users can fold the body of the Adapt Ion vacuum backward when storing, which they cannot do with the Shark vacuum.

However, because of the compact design, Bissell Adapt Ion pet has a smaller dust cup than Shark navigator 360 (0.18L compared with 1.1L). Therefore, users may feel a little annoying emptying the canister frequently.

Another remarkable difference is that the blue Shark vacuum is a corded model while the Bissell device is cordless. Instead, it runs by a battery, but because of the slim design, the battery is not significant. The maximum time for a run is only 19 minutes, but it takes nearly 8 hours for a full charge.

FEATURES

Bissell Adapt Ion pet has no HEPA filter, and its filters can be used one time only, which means you need to take care of them. On the other hand, the HEPA and other filters of Shark navigator NV360 are washable. You can take them out, get rid of all the debris, and wash them with clean water. If you keep them in a good condition, you don’t have to replace them. Moreover, the Shark vacuum is equipped with the Anti-allergen complete seal technology that traps over 99% of dirt, which is not present in the Bissell device.

Both models have a swivel steering that brings convenience when vacuuming. They also have a button on the body to turn off the brush roll when necessary. However, the brush of Bissell Adapt is removable while the Shark brush is not. Moreover, these two devices can be transformed into a handheld vacuum for portable cleaning, but while the Shark lift-away pod is quite heavy and bulky, the Bissell handheld mode is just bigger than a hairdryer.

PERFORMANCE

As a designed vacuum for pet hair, the Bissell Adapt Ion pet vacuum is more impressive in collecting this kind of filament. Next, the lightweight design helps it easier to maneuver furniture to obtain dust and debris. Moreover, this vacuum can work well on carpets, but not thick kinds.

On the other hand, with more powerful suction and through Shark Navigator Lift-Away Deluxe NV360, it is more effective on bare floors and large rooms. The 25-feet cord allows it to cover a wide range without changing the plugging position. This vacuum is better at cleaning carpets than the Bissell one, although it may get problems with high-pile carpets. In addition, the ability to clean hair and furniture of Shark model nv360 can not be underestimated although it may not be as significant as the Bissell vacuum.

CONCLUSION

Each vacuum has its strength and is effective in a specific purpose. They are at similar prices, so consider your demand before making a decision.
